Love Poem: Windows of My Heart

Windows of My Heart

As I finish cleaning the windows of my heart,
You follow behind me,
Wit your greasy fingers,
Smearing the glass,
Hitting every spot i worked so hard to clean,
Love's residue,
Lusts drippings,
And you fingerprints from clutching my heart,
You let it go before i was ready,
Ready to clean,
And just as i finish,
You grab it briefly,
Just to ruin what cleanliness i had,
I do nothing,
But stare in amazement,
Swearing i wont let it happen again,
But in actuality,
That brief moment,
was better than having streak free windows,
As a grab my bucket and cloth,
I walk back to the beginning,
Smiling sarcastically,
lauging at my vulnerablity.
As i begin again,
Cleaning the windows of my heart.
