Love Poem: Wild Child

Wild Child

It's a scene of blue and purple, let's start this with romance
If I sat and watched the masquerade would you ask me to dance?
The tides will turn without your help and they'll take their share of sand
Pleading eyes and aching hearts want more than I can stand
Tonight it's not the loneliness, or maybe this time it is
But I'm sick of crying and I refuse to ask forgiveness for my sins
To some a wild child, a rebel to my mom
I'm an independant thinker, but apparently I'm wrong
I regret the love we could have had, the love that didn't last
But I have scars and poetry to remind me of my past
