Love Poem: Wife

Wife

I can't get a fix on the storm
i see in her in her eyes.
I can't anti-dose her poison,
she believes is there.
I listen to, and gently
navigate around,
all the fear she believes
she is stuck with.
I spew a billion
Shooting gems,
bubbling wit and innuendo,
To persuade a smile
or giggle or at the very least,
a squintish, wet eyed, pouting
lipped, proud gush, of love secure.
