Why wait any longer?
Fathers are awesome
Of spirit lissome
Many an adventure
Shared with children.
The kindness of Providence
Is there a greater evidence
An eager and bountiful
Provider extraordinary.
Of bravery , no shortage
However daunting it may be
Any situation he could face
With great grace.
Attitude so positive
That even Hades would
Quickly run and hide
Such is the spirit.
Carrying us all on a bicycle
Every muscle stretched to limit
Many journey's taken uphill
Not even a hint of a sigh.
Ever eager to help
With mind ,body and spirit
Emulating the Force above
In every way with grit.
Why wait any longer
Till it is Father's day?
Though patience is his strength
My impatience to thank him has it's way.
