Why are we here
What purpose does it serve to negate light,
given that upon death we must return,
restored as our Self, dancing in delight,
healed from bleeding wounds that in life did burn?
Descent and ascent is God’s plan divine,
where our soul’s tempered in the sacred fire,
love enabled when we choose to align,
ego consigned to the funeral pyre.
Barren is awareness bereft of love,
so we etch on our soul, imprint of bliss,
borne by God’s grace that pours in from above,
in gentleness as polarities kiss.
So here we are then, centred in the storm,
grazed by caress of healing currents warm.
