Because you set
Yourself aside-
That's how much you care.
Because you chose me
Among millions
To put faith in.
Because after all
That I've done,
I'm still the one you believe in.
Because you would

So that I'm safe and happy.

To do my best
And to keep my head up.
Because you never
Grow tired of
Hearing me talk.
Because you turn
My tears
To a mere bump
In the road.

And when I was in doubt,

Laugh,

Smile,

Come clean.
Why am I here, you ask?

My best friend,
