Who Do You Say That I Am

Blessed be He Who is Existence Itself,
Blessed be The One we put on a shelf,

Blessed be the One we try to deceive,
Without Whom we'd cease to breathe,

Blessed be He Who gives us the very life,
That we often use to cause such strife,

Blessed be the God of all that we see,
Without Whom we could not be,

Blessed be the Word given in Love,
Come down from our Father above,

Blessed be the One Eternal Light,
He who will make all things right,

The One, the Beautiful the Good,
The Truth pierced on the wood,

Blessed be the Eternal obvious Truth,
Ignored by the self proclaimed sleuth,

Blessed be He Who is Mercy above all,
Who lifts us when we choose to fall,

Blessed is He who trails us,
He, who never fails us,

As we run blindly..wildly in the night,
He asks us to rest..and face the Light,

And if we don't believe in this Higher Power,
At least He bids us, stop. Rest an hour,

To meditate in spirit 'ere our bodies rest under sod,
And know that we our selves...are not.. that God.
