Love Poem: Whisper-Healing Heart

Whisper-Healing Heart

WHISPER -HEALING HEART

Empty Arms are such a waste
In worlds so full of grief
She, a heart burst full of spring
Must Mourn each falling leaf
She loves each falling leaf

CHORUS: Merry Merry is her name
Sweet Glory is her heart
Searching for the love of her life
To soothe his broken heart
To whisper-heal his heart

Thus her arms ache to be filled
With manly substance there
A fellow with a laughing wit
Who'll face the world full square
She’ll give him all she dares

CHORUS

But where to find a man like this
Who has no Love at home
A lonesome man with stalwart heart—
And feet born not to roam
No tendencies roam

CHORUS

The finding is the puzzle
That her wits cannot decode
And so she does the best she can—
And, walks a lonely road
She whistles down her road.

CHORUS
CHORUS (REPEAT)

FIRST VERSE REPEAT SOFTLY (FADE AWAY)

Note: best accompanied by acoustic guitar, recorder, auto harp or lute
