Love Poem: Where Would I Go

Where Would I Go

if i could fly where would i go
to a place i'll never know
in your heart would you see me crying

with wings of gold into the atmosphere
higher and higher than even angels dare
in your mind do you feel me flying

with the edge of my fingertips
i reach to feel heaven's very tip
in your eyes do you see me falling

wings of gold cost my soul
but a heart of stone that let you go
with each breath can you hear me calling

you gave your love innocently
but i only took my needs
broken wings for your love i am crawling

into in abyss of sorrows salty tears
alone i drift into life's true fear
feasting on love but i die alone starving

if i could fly where would i go
but to a place i used to know
in your heart do you feel me dying
