Where Hearts Abide
When I met him- I fell into eyes ocean blue
he said that my dark brown eyes were captivating
we fell in love and said it with an oath of promise
soon, together future plans we were creating
Oh, we had so many wonderful plans and dreams
but your destiny had been written by God's hand
and what God has written cannot ever be changed
I hear whispers while at your tomb- I now stand
"Share the hopes within you still
And hold the dreams that in you reside
Invite a kiss from parted lips
And trace the paths where hearts abide"
He comes to me in dreams to kiss my ruby lips
and carries me away so we can float and kiss
over rippling streams and forest green and hued lush
and I am not afraid but full of love and bliss
No matter what paths this life takes me down, darling
I keep your love with me so you will not depart
within my soul- you dwell to inspire me
I hear your whispers and feel your kisses sweetheart
