The Strongest Link
Your heart is a reflection of your soul:
it suppresses the animal in Man.
It's that inner voice that says, "Yes, you can,"
vetoing instinct: it gives hope control.
And persuades souls to pursue feeling whole,
trying to understand why life began.
Feelings tend to pool deep within the heart:
a reservoir of happiness and pain.

it retains enough hope for a fresh start.
Under the threat of dreams falling apart,
