Love Poem: When You'Re Old

When You'Re Old

One day when you're old, longing for the past Remember the love of youth and do share the warmth within your soul, tho' weary from wear Brawn and beauty fade but love does last Think of the moments with kindred souls and the love you were given steadfast and true These heavenly gifts were bestowed upon you Years later, life will bring a new role And shining your light to care for others you'll pass your love to a new generation Then, breathe new life into God's creation Planting love's seed in your sisters and brothers
