When Sorry Is Not Enough

What do you do when sorry is not enough?
Lost for words and trapped
Trapped in the misery you’ve made yourself
Unable to change what was said
But not knowing how to fix the mistakes
And words
Words just aren’t there
Not there to show the pain and remorse
Regrets or hurting him
Him this person that you love
And there is no walking away
Away to let it fix itself
An impossible concept of the hopeful
The anger and lack of forgiveness is hard to bare
In your head all you can think is
I did this
You sit and you cry, lost in time
The weight of u guilt pressing down on you
Wanting to hear him say
Everything is ok
But knowing it won’t come, not what you deserve
Loving, loving so much it hurts
And knowing you’ve brought things to ruins
So, what do you do when sorry is not enough
And it seems everything is at its end
When comforts not in his arms
And you can’t see a way to fix it and apologize
To say “Baby I love you”
And have it be ok.
But all there is to say is “Sorry”
Turn away and cry.
