When She Was Born

When she was born, emotion bent his knee. He hush-asked, "how could one perfectly wee, of such beauty, be an outcome of me?" His inner core glowed joy in a stunned beam. Sight of her was more WOW than any dream in this rough man's imagination gleam. Feel led outside where wind took his wild scream. A tough man crumbled soft by her small face. His fearsome now in a defenseless place, his emotions marveled at God's good grace granting her, a miracle, from his trace. His child, baby girl, had him Dad-captured. He who had never been soft enraptured, not at any point tenderly fractured, surrendered his all, now infant raptured. He loved his little girl with full heart might. Years of love turned tough in divorce's plight. He wonders if she knows that no fought fight ever hurt him as did their good-bye night. When she was born, emotion bent his knee.
