When Love Ends

When Love Ends

When love ends, it doesn't just go and disappear
It scratches and scrapes layers of your heart
Digs your flesh and pales you up
When love ends, the apathy left is bitter
It boils your emotion and fries your spirit
Strengthless and your feelings, numb

Something beautiful with sharp crooked nails on its tail
What it touches will blossom at first
Will bleed dry once it's bored

For when love comes
Seeping too deep within it has gone
Clutching its nails on your defence walls
Ready to rip it and use its ultimate weapon
Death kiss but it might miss
You need luck to survive and a new love to be revived
