i almost answer........
then my heart stops

a second
and it hurts
i realize
we will never be
together again
on this earth
then

thump da dump
resumes
as i recall

....and loving me

close my eyes
and just for a second
i am your girl again
just like you said
the last time you
kissed me goodbye
and i just go on...
