When I Say I Love You What I Really Mean Is
I say I love you,
but I never hear a reply
nor do I ever recieve an acknowlegement
letting me know that i even exist
a simple nod
or sign would do
Of course you're always too busy
your work always comes first
and I am always second
no one ever said that marriage is perfect
just knowing that you love me would suite me fine
I'm sure that your mistress tells you often
I guess when I say I love you
what I really mean is that it's over
