When I close my eyes,
There is no distance separating us.
My heart says,
You are near.
When I close my eyes,
I remember the day
Of our first kiss.
Your warm lips
Touching mine.
Warming
My heart.
When I close my eyes, I pull you close.
I can feel your warm breath,
As our lips softly touch.
I slowly breath in and out
As I savor that thought.
When I close my eyes,
I see your face.
I take a deep breath,
And I feel your energy
travel through
My heart.
I take another deep breath.
I am feeling calm,
Peaceful, and happy.
I keep my eyes closed.
And I fall into sleep,
Smiling, happy, and at peace,
With you on my mind.
