Love Poem: When and Where

When and Where

I'm not sure what is worse
This wanting, or not knowing how you would feel
I can promise you that every word I write
Is from my soul
And every word is real

I want just as much as you
And probably even more
To experience the two of us
Like we never have before

So tell me when and where you want me
And baby I'll be there

Shall I bring us both some wine
Can we set aside some time
Just so we can talk
Seems our feelings brought us to
A road that me and you
Have never walked

I just fear when we go
That somehow things will change
I could never live knowing I'm the one
That brought you any pain

But if you think that we can make it
Just tell me when and where

Before my days on earth are over
I hope, I get to make love to you
And if I died in that moment
You could bet
That I died loving you

Time keeps on slipping
And our hearts keep on missing
What it seems that we both need to share
So when you're ready, tell me baby
Tell me when and where

Shall I bring us both some wine
Can we set aside some time
Just so we can talk
Seems our feelings brought us to
A road that me and you
Have never walked

I just fear when we go
That somehow things will change
I could never live, knowing I'm the one
That brought you any pain

But if you think that we can make it
Just tell me when and where

We'd want more than just one day
When our lips touch what they've craved for so long
I'm not sure I'd walk away, without saying
Sometimes what's right feels so wrong

I'm not usually the guy
Who risks it all in life
But there's a reason
That I would show up there
I'm just asking that if you ever want to make love
Just tell me when and where

We don't even have to make love
Just tell me when and where
