Love Poem: When An Eagel Soars

When An Eagel Soars

Was an early morning sunrise
when I saw that eagle
I was mesmerized by his grace
enraptured by his beauty

With wings spread wide
he soared effortlessly
while capturing a
morning westerly waft

Then a thermal of rising air
took him to such heights
that he disappeared into
a grey billowing cloud

In my mind I saw him soaring
rising high above the mountains
riding that forever wind
never resting till he reached
his final destination

When you go outside my dear
gaze up at the sky
contemplate each ghostly image
as it goes floating by

Look for one that changes
from an unfamiliar soma
into a beautiful soaring eagle

If you see him
then he has reached
his final destination

He carries with it
my heart to your doorstep
bringing with it my love
and wish for you of happiness

Look and see if he is there
for you and only you will
be able to see him
be able to feel him
be able to want him

But if you don't believe in
"Fairy Tales and Pixie Dust"
then it shall only appear
as a shapeless, heartless apparition

Remember you have to believe
there is magic within the heart
or you shall never believe
in anything at all
