Man’s feelings are complex when true love strikes.
Impressing her becomes his forefront thought.
He tries to learn of her dislikes and likes.
Perfection is the dream that he has sought.
When football games become his second quest,
He wonders whether she would be his wife.
And if she would years truly could be blessed.
He prays that she will want to share her life.
Confused at times when lust takes all control.
Offending her he never wants to do.
Forever love becomes his greatest goal.
His thoughts of family begin to brew.
Maturity knows that he must provide.
When love is bright, his conscience will decide.

A woman loves a man with all her heart.
Her views of him are biased and dreamlike.
Imagination calls those two, “Sweetheart.”
She hopes and dreams their feelings are alike.
At first, she needs to show him that she’s chic.
Her passion locked inside is set aflame.
Sometimes she likes to be a bit mystique.
She dreams that one day true love he’ll proclaim.
At times she needs to show him that she’s smart.
She wishes football games took second place.
She’d rather watch with him than be apart.
She understands he loves her sweet embrace.
Their worthiness forever must be strong.
