What's Enough

“I think your beautiful”
am I thirsty
for telling her what I see?
“I have feelings for you”
am I wrong
for telling her the truth?
“I can’t stop thinking about you”
am I obsessed
because i miss you more than you miss me?
“when can I see you?”
am I asking you for too much?
because i enjoy seeing you smile
“I wanna give you the world”
so I'm lying?
because the last guy failed to give it to you,
“Want to watch Netflix and chill?”
oh I’m nasty now?
because I actually want
to show you my favorite movie
and
bond with you
without any boys or girls trying
to ruin our day…
forget the poem
Not every guy wants the same
things
you know when you can tell
you feeling someone?
and want something serious with them?
when sex isn’t the thing drawing your attention
when you say
“Can i come over”
and they reply
“yeah but my parents are home..”
and you say
“perfect, even better”
anyone can come over and do things
to please themselves
but with you
its nots not about pleasing me
maybe you want a player
maybe a lovable person
is not your type
but anyone who wants to see
you happy and succeed
seems like
the right type.
