What would it be like to love you
To know much more than just your name
Your poetic lines are heart magnets
Thoughts of you are driving me insane
What would it be like to hold you
I’d like to dance beneath the moon
And feel your breath upon my neck
Look in your eyes and be consumed
What would it be like to kiss you
Do I even dare to ponder here
Could lips ignite what once was lost
Would doubts fly when you come near
What would it be like to tell you
All these things and a thousand more
Should I risk this poetic friendship
And boldly knock upon your door
