What Is Love
Why do we look for love? Is it because we
are in love with love?
Is it because love is the center of the world
that nourishes our being?
Is it because love is the key that opens the
door to our hearts?
Is it because we are only half a person and
we are looking for the other half?
Why do we look for love? Is it because
we hang our sorrow and cares on its arms?
Is it because love smiles at us when we are asleep
but departs when we wake?
What is love? I for one believe love is
something we cannot buy, yet we always
pay for it in one way or another.
