Love Poem: What Is Love

What Is Love

What is love
Love is unique and free
Free of struggle and strife
Free of contempt
Love is to hear the sound
Of your child's beating heart
In the womb Love is where the
Loveless are not found
Love is whispers at the dawning
Whispers Of sweet Sensual
Honey suckle charms
What is love you ask?
Then I say, trying your best
To assure her satisfaction.
Asking if she's okay.
Love is tear drops in the rain
Waiting through the pain
Sometimes not having so that
Your love ones may have it all.
Love is a smile at the most
Difficult times fights at night
But not going to sleep angry
A most magnificent emotion
With much Devotion
Love is being lost with your
Lover in Lush lilac gardens not
Wanting to be found.
Quietly closing the door. Privacy.
Love is a powerful state of mind
An affection of Cardiac proportions
An infection for eternity until
Years pass.
Love is loving her tender
Caresses on a sizzling summer
Night love is everything these words
Have read. Love is all of the above
And more
