What Is Love

It’s light raining down From a heavenly home It’s a tear, like dew, kissing Away the doubt, the darkness It’s music and prayer, Feelings that color the world In hues of grace and joy It’s a sincerity that inspires Whispering peace and desire It’s oaks dancing in the breeze Swirling, twirling – breathing It’s intimacy that believes, dreams Confronting the promise of hope Alone on the silent meditation It’s laughter and truth, smiles From the heart, beaming beautiful It’s courage that restores, reassures Quiets every disappointment With faith that lives in the soul It’s poetry – stirring the heart Blessing the imagination, the pen Who brings meaning, expose It’s the storm and the sea, the ease Between clarity and ingenuity It’s the warmth of the summer sun Pleasure from the scent of a rose It’s falling leaves, rustling, serene Shades so bold they vibrate, fascinating It’s gentle proof that stars, winking Nurture the wish made on their shine It’s coming home to normal, to tenderness Blessings that are wise, a yearning It’s wonderful, inviting, so very satisfying Erasing all the sorrow with elation It’s the journey through affection, passion The meaning of a caress, a fire It’s precious and cherished, worthy Adoration alive, such an astonishing blessing!
