Love Poem: What If

What If

What if the sun never rises nor set?
To shine upon your face and let you know how beautiful you are
What if the rain never fall nor dry?
To fall upon you and wash away all your unseen tears

What if the moon never put-up a face?
To keep you company and let you know you can always talk to her
What if the wind never blows?
To soothe your perspiration and relief you of your fears

What if there’s no life?
You will never know how it feels staying alive for those who cares
What if there are no emotions?
You will never know the battles over the anxieties within

What if there no love?
You will never know the count of the heartbreaks
What if there is no pain?
You’d never need to suture the heart flashy wounds therein

What if I have loved you?
Yet you found it so hard to look beyond what you saw
What if I had trusted you?
Yet it was too easy for you to give away the ‘me’ time
What if I’d been faithful?
Yet you never felt a thing while having a mess of me
What if it was a lie?
To tell you that I have moved on without any feelings for you

What if I have sinned?
By giving away the heart to the place it belongs
What if there is heaven?
Yes there is, because I have seen the surest angels

What if there is no hell?
It does exist, I have gone through it, but never stopped by
What if I die?
I’d be happy dying for I loved, touched, felt, held, kissed the one.

What if am afraid?
I swear I won’t be, because am already dead
What if I just want to forget about the thoughts?
Just found another reason to live outside you
