Why do we destroy our nature, why do we make our planet bleed?

What is wrong with our species that it won’t learn from its mistakes, won’t learn from its history?
What is love, given to us for one-another, this super power we all own but dictate who’ll receive?
What are we if we aren’t the species of love for all of humanity?
