Welcome Home
I knew not what brought me to you,
nor why we broke bread the way we
did when we first met with such ease.
You saw my big chestnut doe eyes at
first glance and in an instant fell in deep.
I saw your smile and never knew beauty
as I did in that very moment.
Now we seek everything devoid of fear.
See the world through eyes that adore
life without complications nor restrictions.
I never knew starvation until you satisfied
me with love’s nourishment-
You never knew thirst until I quenched you
with affection’s water.
For we are the renown fairytale they all envy-
We live for nothing except each other.
Feeding off of hunger that brings us to our
knees, capturing moments of patience and
kindness.
I fear not tomorrow-
For it brings me relief in an hourglass running
out of time…
and that time is ours, sweetheart.
So be with me when the magenta solstice moon
ascends and we shall become the Capricorn
and Aries we have always been called to be.
I have been reborn, and you have been
drenched in love’s waterfalls, each searching
for each other’s happiness all the days of our lives.
-for when I’m with you…I am home.
