Love Poem: Weep For Me

Weep For Me

When you get so tired of screaming
In the darkness of your mind
When the vultures that surround us
Numb our thoughts and leave us blind
When there's no hope in the distance
No light upon the shore
I'll remember what love feels like
When you held my hand in yours

You weep for me when I cry
You wait patient by the shore
You give me all the time I need
When I need a little more
You're there walking on the water
When I'm drowning in my tears
Now I'm tired of this delusion
You will chase away my fears

So I guess I'll keep on screaming
In the darkness of my mind
For the vultures that surrounded me
They too now are blind
There's a light there in the distance
A beacon on the shore
I remember what love feels like
Now you hold my hand in yours

I will weep for you when you cry
I'll wait patient on the shore
Give you all the time you need
If you need a little more
I'll walk with you on the water
Stop you drowning in your tears
We will live in loves illusion
I will chase away your fears
