Wasted

WASTED

I wasted hundreds of sheets of paper, ran the ink out of thousands of pens. All writing letters you, That I just would waste more time to send.

I jotted down 10 million words, all my feelings in a letter. Hoping if you read those words you would see we belong together.

I wasted thousands of hours, rewriting and throwing page after page away. Because now matter how I wrote it, it didn't say what I wanted to say.

I wasted so many attempts trying to make the repairs, to something that wasn't broken it was just never even there.

I wasted so much effort on trying to love you and treat you right, but since I did everything wrong all the time,
Everything turned into a fight.

I wasted myself trying to be the person you wanted me to. Ended up losing myself completely, hell was all you put me through.

I wasted hundreds of sheets of paper, 1000 ink pens, what else did I do?
10 million words, thousands of hours and all those feelings wasted on you.
