Love Poem: Warfare

Warfare

Since this isn't real, I'm not sure how I should feel.
The broken aren't dying, the loving aren't defying.
Could I die without you?
Could you find this true?
This night has only just begun...
Could you pull the trigger?
Just grab the gun, I'll be the unknown figure.
The music hasn't begun to start, yet I've given you a heart.
Everybody get down, this is a warfare.
We'll go to town, and watch my heart tear.
I offer grace and love,
our heart's sent above.
As I grasp your hand,
I cannot stand...
I cannot scream...
Baby, this is not a dream.
It's exactly as it seems.
Your tears begin to gleam.
Don't cry my dear, it's not what we fear.
I'll always be here. I've become your seer.
I'm heart broken over you.
There's nothing any one can do.
You are in love with me,
than any one can clearly see.
Though I know you can't be with me...
Our tale shall always be...
