Love Poem: Walking Away Healed Me

Walking Away Healed Me

WALKING AWAY HEALED ME I wanted truth, you told me lies, you love me but you agonize. Now, I am glad you acting mild for I and her have reconciled. I walked away with troubled breast but within, echoes, I am blessed. The fallen tears dried soon, I smiled for I and her have reconciled. Your shouts, your doubts: they made me strong! You are unaware, I reviled but this I don't like as swan song for I and her have reconciled. Gone are the days, you crushed my dreams, I strive. I thrive. I became wild but I am here, crowned with soft beams for I and her have reconciled. With a face healed from pains and fears, a warrior but still a child, I cry quiet, my loudest tear for I and her have reconciled. __________________________________________________________ ***Kyrielle - rhyming couplets or quatrains with a refrain repeated in the last line 7:08 pm, December 14, 2015
