Waiting For a Shooting Star

I now fully understand
The day has come where I know that I will never hold your hand
A walk in the sand
A fish on the line
You on my mind
There's a wish that I wished upon you
Keep me
Inside the pocket of your blue jeans
How about this
If you hurt me
It's okay baby only words bleed
I have a promise
When or if you return
You'll never be alone
Please come back home
I'm alone
I stay up every night
Wishing that I could hold you tight
This world to me-will never be right
I've lost all my might
Inside this car
I am wishing on shooting stars
To me
You'll never be far
A heart can travel long ways.
