Waiting
Today there was a man
whom smiled at me
and spoke ever so softy
saying he would like
to take me out on the town
then he went on
stating he would
wear his Navy blues
if I would
wear my evening dress
with my high-heal shoes
in my hair half-n-half down
then he smiled...
as he looked into my eyes
Then he said
which was a surprise
Look.. I have waited along time
but I not wait no more
I know what I want...

You is whom I adore
Will you marry me?
Please....
I can wait for your answer
for I have waited
ever so long
few more days
don't matter

As I looked in his eyes
full of love.. yet teary eyed
I told him... I shall pray
