Love Poem: Wait

Wait

Lonely nights,
Restless frights.
Sleep eludes,
Reflections of solitudes.
Maybe I should wait,
For time is getting late.
Unless, it is early still?
To the beholder's will.
No words can portray,
Emptiness when you are away.
Your arms- my pillow,
Without- I become a weeping willow.
Your heartbeat- my lullaby,
In the silence, I yearn to cry.
Your breath absent upon my cheek,
Foretells future dreams I wish to seek.
Your love- my embrace,
Present in the absence of your place.
Your presence- my solid rock,
Never fading; in my heart under lock.
My life you did restore,
Proving what true lovers are for.
Missing you every minute;
A poem every moment without you in it.
I know 'There' is a must,
Lessening not my passions of lust.
Aching emptiness; becoming familiar,
Feelings of 'Lost'- are so similar.
Wait long; Hopefully not,
I will wait until my arms have you got.
In wait, Time is nothing;
In wait, Time is an eternity.
Until that day is come,
Waiting is all I get done.
