Vows
The day has arrived for me to share, with all who have gathered here,
what has flowered in my heart since God brought her into my life.
The sweetness of my love is in full bloom this day and so I stand before
God and this assembly to share the rich harvest of my love for him.
To you I offer the wholeness of my mind and spirit; the commitment to be forever true.
In all ways and for always I am yours; in body and soul we are hereafter one.
I promise to make God my adviser; to speak with Him, to listen to Him, and follow His counsel in all affairs of our lives.
And I too will hold a covenant with God that our coupling will be strong and forever lasting.
Let all who witness my promise to defend, protect and honor my bride know that we will be together even beyond the gates of Heaven.
Let all who see and hear this celebration know the extent of my sharing and caring for my groom is as close as Heaven could be to Earth
And so, in keeping with the Master’s Plan, please accept me as your husband.
And answering the will of God, please allow me to be your wife.
For our lifetimes.
For all time.
