Love Poem: Void

Void

I wake to an empty void, encapsulated in this prison of sorrow and grief.
I am trapped in a life of reoccurring loss of hope of any kind of escape.
I lie on the dirty rotten floor, remembering your deceptive motif.
The thought over shadows me, like a sorrow filled drape.

I am tortured by your beauty, equal to none.
Your emerald green eyes used as bait, deceiving only to capture all that I am.
They look right through me, like a burning red bullet fired from a gun.
They glisten so invitingly, luring and stealing my heart in the process, forever damned.

Your hair so softly woven by the hand of God;
While I run my hand through your locks, its venomous feel addicts my hands making it yearn for its feel.
Your lips so intoxicating, like a sweet honey, a delicious delight to suffice my pallet leaving me awed.
I have not realized you have wounded me in my venerable depths of my soul but in time it shall be revealed.

They remind me of the thin line between infatuation and despising.
Remembering your witty, sharp tongue that found excuses for every actuation,
Living in ignorance isn’t the best way to live, it brings situation rather surprising.
A fake bliss is like a fake kiss, it’s beautiful in moment but in the end, it nothing except deception.
