Love Poem: Vision In the Fall

Vision In the Fall

A vision of a memory
of a woman standing still.
Far away off in the distance
longing deeply for the thrill.

Where the fresh air from a chest up
smells of dead leaves through the nose.
Lifting higher than the vision
of this woman like a rose.

That the feelings of her presence
flee reflecting from my sight,
thinking love off in the future
might be certain as the light.

When the time becomes a season
for my memories made to stall,
Bringing all my love of women
back to this one in the Fall.
