Violin Curves and Soul Songs

His hand rests lightly
On the violin curve
Of my waist...
His gaze moves languidly,
So that it is like a bow over
My heartstrings...
I breathe, deeply, and
His fingers move to
Feel the soft hum of air
Passing my lips
As my chest rises like
A crescendo...
He breathes, deeply,
And our sighs harmonize...
He looks into my eyes as if
He sees a melody there...
I wonder if his heartbeat quickens
Because he is keeping time
To the song that plays in my soul.
