Violet Skies

I think about you, we're miles away, but our minds are stitched together and standing strong
We pick up on our premonitions
We're so in sync, it's not just a coincidence
Everyone else can see it

Gorgeous radiant blue like the ocean in your eyes
Only one name gets that rush in my blood
Didn't think blue and red could work so well
We're projecting violet skies
Where cloud nine takes its shape

Sitting around, in silence, reading each other's thoughts
Unspoken language, we know exactly what we mean
No one else knows like we do
One gaze is all we need to feel complete

Gorgeous radiant blue like the ocean in your eyes
Only one name gets that rush in my blood
Didn't think blue and red could work so well
We're projecting violet skies
Where cloud nine takes its shape

Drew a permanent smile on myself when I saw your face
Kind of knew it would end up this way
Over a year and counting, how much more do
we have to wait?

Gorgeous radiant blue like the ocean in your eyes
Only one name gets that rush in my blood
Didn't think blue and red could work so well
We're projecting violet skies
Where cloud nine takes its shape
