Pouring out my heart
On the empty page
With a silent prayer
And a whisper of faith
Pen birthing grace
Inspired by His face
Raining down love
He shines from up above
Freeing my heart
From fear that taunts
From tears that haunt
From darkness and dread
He silences the screams
Of a heart bleeding
Through veins of prayer
Filling my mind with joy
That comes from finally knowing
His love is the only answer
To my prayers for peace and wisdom
Prayers for light and love
That leaves me with so much warmth
Hope that lingers on and on
Glowing in the shadows
Beckoning to my heart’s thanksgiving
Blessing me with inspiration
Freeing my imagination
So that His love is my eternal wealth!
