Vase

The blooming buds unfurl with the touch of dawn, like the day unfolding in the spring sky dreamy. As the southern zephyr ripples in my lawn, I see the dulcet dance of charming daisy. The flowers blossom in the bough of serene silence, look up ardently at the arc of the sliding sun, soaking its illumined purity as the essence, into heavenly beauty on earth they turn. As the night melts in the sun-soaked horizon of hue, and the morning mist slowly drifts and ascends, in my floral meadow I descry a surreal view, as from the sky sapphire dust descends. The divine afterglow pulsates with fragrant cadence, suffuses my weary mind with gorgeous grace, enshrined in the patina of pristine innocence, like the placid radiance of your face. Yearning so very long for your elusive embrace, with the flowers of my garden I’ll make a posy, within the alluring vase of desire I will place with my heart hidden in happy daisy. _________________ April 20, 2023 Word Chosen : Vase Contest : Writing Challenge - "V" Words Sponsored by : Constance La France
