Vanity In Love

To love to desire to posses that which as of yet not possessed
in itself delightful quickly unremembered in a soul that yearns an longs for
a union or is it communion that's like a bond made of threads of the wind

like the wind the embrace of a loved one is quickly forgotten
like a rare tear drop falling on her hand so is the hurt soon forgotten
in the instant the two are intertwined in flames of romance

like the intertwining of bush rope so are the feelings of one who is in love
like the glint of the sun in spiders web that has caught the dew of the morning
is the fleeting joy of embracing a loved one..

like an affair it is in vanity like a drink that never quenches ones thirst
or like trying to remember the waters in a torrent is the one who yearns
and craves for the lovers embrace ever tugging the lovers heartstrings
