Love Poem: Valentine's Season Again

Valentine's Season Again

I was laughing so casually …
Everything was perfect for such a long time.
Then I caught a pair of eyes searching in the crowd.
It amused me…his eyes rested upon somebody.
He was cracking a joke about some fair lady.
He looked flirtatious but eyes carefully hiding intentions.
It was a century's game starting, one of those I know...
It’s everyone’s age and moment..
The search for something more..
Something out of routines..
Fluttering of heart, one side or both?
Don’t know yet
Excitement..... my writer's curiosity is awakened
I like those eyes..
It just reminded me of someone
Far behind and close to me
A spasm of sweet pain washed over me.
It is called... times gone....something lost...
He's linked to my very nature of stars and traits.
I couldn’t understand this unsettling feelings
I had to observe and track it carefully.
It was first sight love in the air,
Lovers taking birth.
I was connecting to it....
like getting closer and unravelling a mystery
Of mixed feelings of dreams and rationality….

Oh! A dose of gym would clear my mind!!
Isn’t it part of the writer's journey
A new love story to craft upon.
