I can not focus
I can not think straight
Wondering if the term "Us"
Has become Irate
We all know what we could be
We all know but we don't see
What we could truly be
I see you and me
Happy as one
Between us we could have never ending fun
We could have it all
But we ignore this
And because of it
Into confusion we will fall
I don't understand why
You could just ignore possibilities
You are scared to take a chance
You don't even want to glance
We could be all we want and more
But we will ignore it and shut that door
No more shall we think back to what we could be
We become blind to reality
And move on
