Upon My Knees I Pray

fair maiden i come in the name of love
as the rain sprinkles from up above
so does my soul pour out to you
take me mold me into the perfect man
with you my life has meaning i have a plan
i plan to make you happy everyday
i plan to take your tears and drive them away
never will you have to be alone any more
when i knock promise to open the door
open the door betwixt your heart
for i promise to never do you wrong
for it is your love i do sing this song
fair maiden i will not play the folly
all your time with me will be jolly
dissappear sadness and sorrow
never to return until tommorrow
when we no longer share a heart
when the brightness has turned into dark
the last fire has distinguished there is not even a spark
that will never happen to us
for in my heart it does burn with lust
i desire you every day in my mind games you play
do i fear to lose you yes i do
the fear i have is an illusion that makes me blue
upon the harp i play a tune
you have strayed but you will be home soon
i pray for your return on this full moon
as bright as it shines in the night
your love is my eternal light
that shines more and more each day
for your love upon my knees i pray
