I like the way you reach for my hand as you drive.
It's the small things you do like that, that makes me feel something inside.
I love how you put your head on my chest and cover your eyes when we're watching a scary movie.
You never hear me say it, but spending time with you really means something to me.
I Haven't felt this way in a quite a while, when you look at me, I can't help but to smile.
But you live here and I live there, the far distance between us is just unfair.
Sure we could try and make it work, but long distance relationships usually only end in hurt.
To not be with you when I needed you would be just as bad as losing you too.
So I'm going to let you go, end what we were never given the chance to grow.
It's hard because you could have been the one.
Guess we'll never know, not every battle is meant to be won.
Even though it was just a short fling, you left me questioning everything.
For the first time in a long time I believed in love again.
Looking back, all I ever known was for love to end.
But I guess love coming to an end is just as bad as never having the chance for love to begin.
But that's our story and it's never easy to tell. Just know that wherever you end up in life, I only wish you well.
