Love Poem: Untitled

Untitled

Reading the old crumpled love letters my mind haunts me terribly.
Lost in a gaze, a puzzle, and a game of chess losing a battle that’s endlessly.
I request your touch, your smell, your way of life, to me its ecstasy.
The black and white colors surround me as if I had the disease of leprosy.
My eyes take pictures like photographs I remember endless empathy.
The love muscle that I desire is located at home in Iowa my home is destiny.
Unfortunately, destiny has also failed me and brought me shame and jealousy.
The only thing that can bring me back to myself is you, my rock, and my melody.
How did I let this opportunity slip and fall away? I had everything I had my identity.
Now that is lost and gone too, I can’t see shapes or sizes, I have lost my supremacy.
It seems that I have a lot of learning to do, and makeup, I need some clarity.
Wherever I go, you remind me of all the small things that were so sentimentally.
You go and ill follow; follow you from start to finish, in order sequentially.
You go and ill follow; follow away from each other, and ill stay here helplessly.
