He was a king looking for a queen, a God in search of a Goddess, and he
choose me.
A woman who viewed love as nothing but a hoax, a mere joke.
Me, I’d rather play in a lion’s den before falling in love again and become landlord
to a broken heart.

He was a king looking for a queen, a God in search of a Goddess, and he
choose me. A woman whose capacity to love was damaged, and like an addict
who’d just went thru detox, the thought of loving again, I think not .

But, he was relentless in his pursuit, and determined to love the hurt away and
there was nothing I could say to make him sway.

Aiight, I admit I enjoy the attention and tokens of affection, this man made a
lasting impression, he reached for my hand and touched my soul, loving me in
spite of and not because. Now I can’t stop thinking ‘bout his touch, and when he
isn’t around, I miss him so much, his kisses are a must.

His love is like the spring, calm and gentle –
Renewing, Restoring, and Regenerating, helping my heart to mend and I
couldn’t love him any more than if I’d given birth to him.
